Very nice! It's a great country for trains isn't it?

Ah, the famous, a Vectron, it's hard not to see one of these around Europe these days!
You're gonna be using this speed camera there to make a vlog
Thank you for this detailed article! I'm surprised I had never heard of urban villages before, it's still a bit confusing to me so I'll have to research on that further.
I do hope that one day people will grow out of this "single family home is the default" kind of thought...
That too, well except if you fly from overseas :P I still see youtubers taking the taxi to and from high speed rail stations, ironically...
π Take π the π train π to π the π airport π
Oh welcome back! Haven't seen you in a while at all! I even missed your posts from a month ago it seems
Still wonder when that driverless capability will be used. I heard a lot about it in the past few years, but with very little in the way of even actual, scaled up tests.
And not understanding that visiting another country is visiting someone's home, they would respect their mate's place but not that...I still don't know why lol
It would literally be possible to spread across tourists and them having similar experiences to the big cities or "cultural" cities like Kyoto...But no, the Instagram generation of "let's all go to the same spot for the same photo" continues to prime no matter what.
Yeeeeeeeep! But I guess some people still think that this isn't a real thing and thus think that you're just pretending. Those who call out "pretense" are honestly disgusting...
Because I don't know what's the obsession with idolising the country, or (in some cases) to just berate it like it's the worst place on Earth as well, it's one or the other, never it being a...Normal country, with it's upsides and downsides...
Obvious lack of compassion from them as well
No worries :) let me know if you need to talk, I'm here!
I do get that a lot, I'm sorry to hear you're going through that too. :/
Everyone has something interesting about them, no matter what! And everyone will find something interesting in you too!
You just have to wonder how they can make such a room this cheap, cost of life differences surely can't explain that alone π
Colour me jealous
As it should be, all natural/national parks should be visitable by public transport and foot, not by car only. :)
And all reachable by public transport I'd assume?
I still love how they did the mirror image of the European version when it comes to the driver's handles. Brake on the left instead of right, and throttle + cruise control/AFB on the right instead of left. At least the Chinese are sound an put the main controls where most dominant hands are. :)
Have you checked Walk East's channel? There's a lot of parks like this one which have a lot of touristic paths to visit, and they're beautiful any time of the year, it's amazing. Many national parks like these have amazing opportunities to see them!
I'll be 40 when it will happen...That is craaaazy
Textbook case of a Boarding Non-Boarding at Luton. The view of the aircraft is great though.
@davidfengtrains.social It's happening! SMILEs are being exported! westbahn.at/news/unsere-...
I'm gonna have to be the one to be a bit negative about this. For the price of a TGV ticket, and this being a flagship product of the "country of gastronomy", I do find this "bistro" offering a bit lacklustre to be honest. The TGV M was an opportunity to honour that tag of France, but welp :/
π΅Hallo aus Berlin! Wie heisst du?
Guten Tag Berlin! Wie heissen sie? π΅
Does that mean that there won't be any express projects yet? Just core/trunk lines for now?
So will it run two safety systems at the same time because of the Shinkansen necessarily needing ATS? That seems like a stretch...I'm fairly convinced buying Shinkansen is a mistake because of how dependent Taiwan has become on buying Shinkansen rather than other manufacturer's trains and tech
Question: What about the transport situation when you get to Zhuhai? I don't know much other than the fact that its tram system closed(?) and that its other forms of transports would be buses locally and perhaps intercity railways from its main station. So overall, how easy is it to move around?
#TrainsNotPlanes carried through the new year! Happy new year!
232 kilometres in 7 years? are you out of you damn mind? xddd I wish we could build as fast elsewhere... The fact that there are places which want to build 6 kilometres of metro in over 15 years is very depressing...
