I’ve been practicing drawing full scenes lately — not just characters, but the little objects and spaces around them. It’s starting to feel like the room is coming alive.

I created this artwork 5 years ago. The concept was inspired by the graphic novel style, featuring divided spaces. It narrates a story, yet it doesn't resemble a comic.

It was made using colored pencils. I think I should be capable of working with paint now.

"Pumpkin Popper" is an illustration that blends the classic imagery of a jack-o'-lantern with a whimsical twist, bringing a playful spirit.

This character was created three years ago, and I came across it while browsing through my Procreate library. At the time, I thought I sucked this for some reason. Looking at it now, though, it seems solid to me.

Maybe there’s a chance for me to explore a future in character design?

When crafting a composition, create the balance of negative and positive space while guiding the viewer's gaze across the canvas. Even the simplest visuals can become a sense of depth and intrigue.
I hope I can draw backgrounds next time too
