I think it’s important to remember fascism does not only win because of how people vote in a single election. Or even two. That is not the first and only cause. And if your institutions were resistant to fascism it would not succeed in consolidating power within a few months.

In Turkish: “Özgür Filistin”, where it’s an adjective. We also have the phrase “Filistin’e özgürlük”, which means “Freedom for Palestine”. If you want to use “Free Palestine” to convey the verb meaning as it does in English, you would say “Filistin’i özgür bırak”, but this is not very common.
