I loved this comparison of the two Menaces.
The commโs colours printed ok thank god. Iโm so glad I donโt need to order a second attempt. I will be ordering a print of the Jamie and Zoe only version for myself to hopefully get autographed in July now that I know the colours will be ok with it if I just do what I do with the other one;;;
Also Iโve been rereading the GX manga for the first time in forever and I forgot about all the little things that are different from the anime. Like Manjoume isnโt the chaotic disaster that he is in the anime. itโs interesting when they give a different take on characters!
i still donโt think it was quite the right choice to have him be 18 like maybe they should have just made him 14 or so bc thatโs what most of us had assumed he was anyway. but it does result in the hilarious thing of โwhy are you 18 beefing with a 13 year oldโ lmao
this confusion still happens btw. a server Iโm in has been doing watch parties lately and I was seeing new fans of the show make the same assumptions. People in chat were all discussing ships and very clearly assuming he was 14 and I was there burdened with The Knowledge lmfao rip
itโs as if a big chunk of people looked at that age reveal, thought โthatโs bullshitโ and decided to disregard it completely and carried on as if it hadnโt happened. And I donโt even remember seeing anyone getting hate or anything for doing that, which is obviously unimaginable now
Bc at that point it was likeโฆ 50-ish episodes in if I remember right. there were some pretty established and popular ships with him, based on the collective assumption they were all closer in age and itโs wild looking back bc the revelation of his actual age didnโt really do anything to stop that
It was so wild back when Kaito was officially revealed to be 18 bc up to that point most everyone had just assumed he was like. 14. Maybe 15. He looked like he was a similar age to other characters who were 14. at the very least he def didnโt look 18 and pretty much everyone was like WHAT!?!?!?

Doodling my old Zexal OC again and feeling emotional bc people hated her So Much back in like 2013 that I eventually stopped drawing her bc of how relentless the harassment was. and Iโll never get why she was hated. I was doing nothing different from what my friends were doing with their OCs.

My Manjoume cosplay is around somewhere too but I donโt fit it anymore which sucks bc I really liked how I used to look in that. but also. ๐ it makes me a bit sad and nostalgic for the fun times I had in it and the friends I miss who arenโt part of my life anymore.
Somewhere I probably still have bits of my Bakura cosplay and part of me wants to redeem it with some untainted newer photos so that it isnโt all locked back in that awful time of my life but the other part of me is like. If I so much as Touch that cosplay itโd be like putting my brain on the stove

I wish I still had my laptop and the way I used to convert my art for printing bc nowadays it always turns out bad. and maybe itโs a combo of different programs, less ideal profile conversions and different print place but. ๐ im very much still figuring it out lol

Side note regarding that ship I used to be ride or die for โฆ I do still enjoy it but not at their canon ages within the show, obviously. Itโs something I could only imagine happening a good long stretch of years post-canon. But like. I get that that still makes people uncomfortable and thatโs fair.
