I've been wanting to write a Christmas horror story for years now and this morning, an idea finally came to me.
So I've challenged myself to write one chapter a day, every day until Christmas.
First draft - 50,000 words - 25 chapters - 2000 words a chapter
Can she do it?
Authors: How do you pick which genre when your novel blends with multiple genres and relies on different elements from each?
For example, mine has speculative, horror, thriller, and dystopian elements with a romantic subplot.
On TikTok, I host Flash Fiction Friday where you get a word, a genre, & setting to write a 100 word story in 20 mins.
