Been awhile since I read the constitution—remind me of what it say about spying on people just because of their politics?

"Users you have blocked may also be able to use this public stream to view your posts without interacting with you. If your threat model includes trolls and other bad actors who might reshare your posts in other contexts, this is important to consider."

Excellent article. 💯

I like clicking on thumbnails that has tech that I already have. Especially if the thumbnail shows multiple of stuff I have.

Technically, tech that you own. A handful of stuff I end up buying are because of the videos you posted. 😅

Radiant links $50 million crypto heist to North Korean hackers Radiant Capital now says that North Korean threat actors are behind the $50 million cryptocurrency heist that occurred after hackers breached its systems in an October 16 cyberattack.

North Korean state-affiliated hackers Citrine Sleet, also known as "UNC4736" and "AppleJeus," sent a malicious ZIP file that included a decoy PDF and a macOS malware payload called 'InletDrift,' which created a backdoor on the compromised device.

This is an AMAZING list! It's not said outright, but I love how Bob mostly suggest FOSS and Linux devices for the holidays. 🎁💯👾

It's not the size of the handheld that matters, but how you use it.

U.S. officials say they still have not expelled Chinese telco hackers U.S. officials said Tuesday they had not expelled Chinese hackers from telecommunications companies, warning concerned users to turn to encrypted messages.

Chinese government hackers were discovered months ago on telecom carriers and ISPs, but the US has not been able to remove them, officials said Tuesday. For safer communications, they suggested "responsibly managed encryption" in a background briefing.

U.S. officials urge Americans to use encrypted apps amid cyberattack that exposed live phone calls FBI and CISA officials said it was impossible to predict when the telecommunications companies would be fully safe from interlopers.

"I have nothing to hide. E2EE is for the paranoid and criminals! They need backdoors!"

Advocates of privacy and security would undoubtedly concur. It was always about safeguarding ourselves and the individuals we speak with, not about hiding anything.

Oh. You're right. I'm an idiot. I took it as if the user they are following or wants to follow doesn't have DMs enabled, they'd block. 😂 I need coffee. Thanks for the clarification.

I'm genuinely curious, why would no DMs be a criteria to block someone?

I had #Signal & Signal Beta on #PopOS at the same time. I've been seeing "xenial" duplicates after "sudo apt update." If you're having issues getting rid of it, here's what I did:

Uninstall Signal.

# sudo /bin/rm -v /etc/apt/sources.list.d/signal-xenial.list

Reinstall Signal.

Hope this helps.

If you still had ProtonVPN installed, yeah.

But in my situation, this was after uninstalling ProtonVPN and still having issues. So those configurations were leftovers even with no ProtonVPN present.

I had internet issues with ProtonVPN on PopOS. I tried EVERYTHING! Uninstalled the app & even refreshed the OS. Eventually, I found this fix:

# sudo nmcli connection delete pvpn-killswitch

# sudo nmcli connection delete pvpn-ipv6leak

Reboot after. Success!

Thought I'd share. :)
