For years, DC residents have been waiting for DDOTβs congestion pricing report. As a member of the Transportation & Environment Committee, Iβve pushed for its release because we need the data to seriously consider solutions to traffic, public health challenges, & barriers to public transportation.

My budget priorities reflect what Ward 4 residents have shared about their lives through oversight hearings, budget forums, and community discussions. These conversations have made it clear that residents want a budget that keeps people housed, supported, and able to thrive.

Just a few months ago, we had the honor of celebrating Rev. Hagler's living legacy and decades of service. Today, we mourn his loss and pray for all those who loved him. Ward 4 and the District are stronger because he chose to call them home.

Deeply saddened to learn of the passing of our Ward 4 neighbor, pastor, and community leader, Rev. Graylan Hagler.
Β
Rev. Hagler believed, as we do in Ward 4, that our neighborhoods are worthy of dignity, investment, and love, and fought to make that vision real.
