IMO, that insight would come from being engaged with the politics of the day with an open and inquiring mind that also has compassion for fellow Albertans. Sadly, for a variety of reasons, we have not had a significant number of Albertans at this level of engagement.

You can’t make a secession question constitutional per the Court’s decision and if you tried, you’d probably violate the Clarity Act, which means it wouldn’t be clear and then there would be no obligation on Canada to negotiate.

Feels like we are living in the US. The UCP ignoring our charter and willing to manipulate provincial laws to facilitate separation. The UCP are deaf to the will of the majority and will continue to force their agenda. We need an election not a referendum! 😡
