Last year I bought @nomadsculpt.com for iPad.I made this submarine with a tutorial to learn the basics.Since my ZBrush license expired a few days ago,I got Nomad and the submarine back to remove the rust adding stuff and mainly materials.excellent software!

I was a bit rusty with Zbrush, so I wanted to do this little project. Unfortunately, after I started, my Zbrush license expired the next day. So I continued with Nomad (bless the perpetual license!). So I'm still a bit rusty with Zbrush. 🙃

Took about an afternoon. very low poly, 4k tris, even if I took some freedom because this stuff would probably have made a PS1 explode : D I focused on achieving the right aesthetic than on the technical side. Textures strictly 256x256,one trim for env. No PBR. Crt effect done in Ps.

I don't understand why there is confusion on this topic. The triangle is the simplest shape that can be built in 3d, a quad is not. A quad cannot deform if it were just a quad, which is perhaps the basic principle for 3d modeling.

Ok,I'd say I'm calling it done, I've added some detail in the texture to make it more sci-fi-esque, added a few hundred triangles in the keys to make'em softer. As soon as I have time I'll do the presentation renders. A little project done in my spare moments. Feedback appreciated!

After buying an iPad Pro 1TB with 16GB of RAM, I got Nomad Sculpt. Following a tutorial to learn how the program works, I made this in a couple of days. It's a WIP for now, but I'll move on to retopo and texturing later.
