Pumped for Browns on Sunday. Very winnable game. Big game for QB and coach!

My left field choice for new Browns coach, should it come open would be Greg Olsen in the CEO style. Highly respected, great communicator, played to a high level for a long time, at a position that requires cerebral knowledge of the game. Very well connected around the league too
*deadline not bye
3) Burn it all down in the off season. Problem with that is Haslem would be calling the shots and that's the worst of all options. Give me option 1 all day long
Depo gone 2 days after the bye. Looks to me like jump before possible push. Some options 1) Manning part owner and replace depo. Year to evaluate FO then draft Arch 2) Move Berry into depo role. Acknowledge Berry is good at financials etc but need a better evaluator. Sign new GM in off season
I want to be upbeat about the possibility of Shadeur starting but the truth is it's highly unlikely even in the most optimistic eventuality that he resurrects this offense. Its tough to keep watching
Gabriel has zero turnovers through 3 games. He's crafting a career for himself already even if his ceiling turns out to be limited. He's the type who could develop, though the WR room and OTs together could stymie that. Critics neglect the number of starts and point to the number of college starts
Browns rookies played well today. Jags lost badly too, overall a decent day for the Browns. The main difference today was discipline especially early in the game. The dolphins coach will make an excellent OC. He's not head coach material. Jury is still out on Stefanski on both roles
Yeah you'd love to be upbeat but the reality is bleak
Doug Martin really disliked his nickname just fyi right now
Correct decision to promote Sanders. Game of sink or swim for him and Gabriel over the next few weeks. Who cares in the grand scheme of things. Only upside if one balls out. Stefanski's cotton wool narrative is a charade. Just Stefanski trying to make life easier on himself going forward
Get Gabriel in there immediately
Then Nico Collins happened and that probably hurt. High grade by all accounts. Then Schwesinger, Judkins and Gabriel happened all going well above ADP. Reach when you really like the player and let it fall to you the rest of the time?
I would've had Berry in the don't reach for draft picks camp. Let the board come to you. School of long run results will be better if you don't reach philosophy.
That's a big win today. That's a big win for Stefanski. Great to see the kicker reward the faith. Owned his miss and met it head on. Has hit every kick since. Nice to be on the right side of a close one
THE badge - the NFL badge. Re the play isn't costing money....We'll see..I see it going next off season
These things come down to fan sentiment and what is good for the badge and nothing more. If it ever gets banned its because its bad for ratings. The injury narrative was a pure Goodell smokescreen. I've no issue with how the Eagles or anyone else is running the play I just think its a boring play
Re-read the last line of my original post and you'll see exactly why I think its bad for the game
Prove it? Chill there and enjoy your victory
Zero crying here
Main argument is I don't think its good for the game. That's it. Never said Eagles were the only team to try it, definitely the most skilled at it. I disagree with the injuries narrative that's out there about it, no evidence of injury risk at all. Die hards might disagree with me and thats fine
The tush push has to go, it's a terrible play and a worse name. 3rd & 2 or 3rd & 1 and its automatic. I get the Eagles wanting it and would sympathise with them if it was changed but its bad for the game. No one sees what's going on in there and its just not entertaining in any way
All we've got today is straw clutching, so here's the straws. For starters, game ball to Jake Browning, could be big in 6 months time. Kicker showed character, loved the first aiming inside left in case of the push. Rookies continue to look at home. Def is legit. Back up QB pushed for starting time
Browns are going to be a 12 personnel team this season. Judkins as lead back and the two TEs as change ups. Sampson in on passing downs and 007 and Thrash mixed in as field stretchers. I feel positive about all of that with Flacco or the young fellas, the OL holding up is the big question mark
Not near you to call but yeah tough day for Browns fans. Absolutely should have won today! Kicker plus two very unfortunate INTS. Please offer us some solace!
Yeah very fair. Could be making a big step forward
Is that Lenny?
There was a success rate stat early doors above 50% for the Browns on Fox. This is pure Stefanski and possibly the most positive stat of the day. It is a pattern we can expect to see weeks ahead. Good fundamentals and variety on play calls with runs on early downs followed by play actions shots
Note on offensive rookies: Fannin looks legit. One drop but bar that it was as good as you could hope. TEs normally don't pop Year 1. Sampson scored well on elusiveness, contact balance is a slight concern though more than good enough as a 3rd down back
When Judkins returns Browns will have a nice 1-2 punch with Sampson. He handled the 3rd down role very well today. He didn't show enough on run downs yet but the pick up off his toes was really impressive. He's a serious football player
