I successfully defended my Master's thesis today!
The key finding of my study was that although boosting math confidence is beneficial for math performance, it is not enough for students with math anxiety. Focused intervention to address #math_anxiety is needed.
I am excited to be recruiting new PhD students to the Indiana University Dept. of Psych & Brain Science to study preschool numeracy, math language, executive functioning, spatial skills, beliefs about effort, and more. Please send prospective students my way!
