When that happens, the Israeli military and government are never held accountable—and Palestinian, Lebanese and Iranian lives don’t matter.
The Ellison family has always been open about their anti-Palestinian advocacy, and ensuring that their bigotry is reinforced in the companies they own. Former Oracle CEO Safra Catz even said: “We believe that we have to embed the love and respect for Israel in the American culture.”
Instead of holding the Israeli military accountable, we’re already seeing how coverage increasingly reflects the anti-Palestinian interests of the people who own the platforms and media outlets.
When major media outlets are owned by the same family with the same political perspective, real press freedom becomes a joke.
Larry Ellison, the second richest man in the world and the single largest donor to the Friends of the IDF, is part of the family that already owns Paramount and Oracle, runs TikTok’s content algorithm, and is poised to take over Warner Bros, HBO and CNN.
Meanwhile, the Ellison family is rapidly taking over much of the news, media and social media that Americans consume.
And it’s going to get even harder to find the truth. In 2025, more than 130 papers shut down in the US, while the five biggest newspaper chains are owned by hedge funds and anti-Palestinian billionaires.
Everyone knows who’s committing war crimes, except the headlines. We know who is bombing Iran, starving Palestinians and invading Lebanon—the US and Israeli militaries—but if you’re relying on mainstream media, you wouldn’t be able to tell.

His research continues to be integral to our understanding of Zionism as a movement that always intended to ethnically cleanse Palestinians from their homes and create a state with “maximum land, with minimum Palestinians.”
Khalidi also made a monumental contribution to the struggle for Palestinian liberation in revealing Plan Dalet, the plan by Israel’s founders to use terror and force to steal as much Palestinian land as possible, before the official establishment of the state of Israel.
All That Remains was the first consolidation of research documenting original Palestinian communities and villages on their land and what happened to them after theft and occupation by Jewish militias and Israeli forces.
In 1992 Khalidi published All That Remains: The Palestinian Villages Occupied and Depopulated by Israel in 1948.
