A black and white winter beach scene on a windy Bristol Channel. A bystander shows interest as a surfer explains the basics to him - middle left of the frame. There is a para-surfer scudding across choppy water behind and to the middle right of the guys on the shore. In the background can be seen the Brean Down Peninsula and on the end, Brean Down Fort. The sky is cloudy though there is some brighter light breaking through.
