One would assume any water in a kettle has been boiled before and is leftover from previous use. Boiled and reboiled water taste awful, no experts required there, but why not chuck what's obviously boiled kettle water instead of drinking it, mate?

And then desperately hoping they believe in your sentience.

Twins! Had Mexican rice and beans, and stuffed poblano peppers for lunch, thanks to the mans. So good!
And thank god for that!
It is the end of times, and it's not even funny ๐ญ

But but but have most of the funny people stayed on Twitter and have all the unfunnies moved here? ๐ญ
BlueSky is such a strange place - I see some of my old Twitter book pals here, hence why I'm here, but the rest of my feed is insipid looking food made by people who may or may not have taste bubs, angry Americans (whom I've now muted), and people who think they are funny but probably can't spell it

Terrible cliche, but it was Hamlet and Keats and later Austen for me. Hamlet and Keats I studied for my A Levels; had a massive impact on me, on so many levels. I stayed away from Austen for some reason until my early 20s, when on holiday from Uni I read all her books - and I'm still inspired.
Tell me about it! They're completely different with my nieces, too! I guess we were chopped liver ๐
I look back at my childhood and shudder - I'm surprised I grew up to be well adjusted and sane, somewhat.
What is a magazine, again?
That's a very sweet memory - for my part, can't say there's a lot I will voluntarily carry forward ๐
Baby goes to sleep and downloads a new skill everyday: the day before yesterday he learnt how to shout at me, yesterday how to hold the rattle with two hands and stuff it in his face, this morning how to projectile vomit. Soon he'll be quoting Proust. Any day now ๐คฉ
As people in the third world can attest, Hogshit is just saying the silent bit out loud.
in a parallel world where all the tech oligarchs were into lit fic instead of sci fi they are having sad affairs and ruminating on identity, childhood, and loss instead of attempting to hasten the collapse of civilisation
