Does anyone else struggle to get back into paper writing after submitting a grant, or is it just me?
Nothing feels stranger than submitting an NIH R01 in the midst of all this uncertainty. The anxiety is real.

Very bad news late last week from CDC about maternal mortality in the USA - it continues to go up. The leading cause of death for #pregnant people in 2020 and 2021 was infectious diseases, especially #COVID.
