She really was a beautiful big girl. In the second pic is one of our vorwerk hens who is the size of ...well...a "standard" chicken.
Josie was just a perfect floof ball.
4 chickens roaming the garden, one huge orange one (Josie) in the front, next to her a very tiny one (Sadie) - beige/white with black dots - a slightly bigger one (Bernadette) - brown with a golden head and neck - and a brown one (Mila) where half of the body is off screen.

The head of a white silkie chicken (Lilly) is poking out from behind them. Next to them is a big orange buff Orpington hen (Josie), next to her a very tiny beige/white Serama mix hen with black spots. Was too tempting so I have to post some pics to show off a bit of chicken diversity.
The size difference between Josie (Buff Orpington, sadly no longer with us) and Sadie (Serama mix) is too good not to.
Plus a pic of them with some more group members because... chickens!
