It's got to be her final chance until something happens.
Then again, she's too mainstream to not be voted in as performer.
As of this point, three nominations should be the limit for future ballots.

Also you're dead on about Motorhead. In fact, that can be said for Thin Lizzy, Steppenwolf, The Replacements & other one time nominees. 2/2
Voters had burned Devo in every bridge 3 times they were nominated (same scenario happened with Judas Priest & look where it gotten them) so don't expect them to be back either. 1/2
Speaking of Dolls, we're so sure that they're not gonna back on a ballot anymore.
Come on RRHOF, just create a Veteran's Committee & put those who can't be voted in mainly through that method. These repeated nominees including JD/NO & those in the past have waited long enough.
Fuck man, you could be right.
I've been saying that the Hall should finally introduce the Veterans Committee for who knows how long.
Plus I actually predicted them one of the influencers this year.
Come to think of it, you really do have a point hence my comment.
So far, only Carey, Collins, INXS, Iron Maiden, Oasis, Vandross & Wu-Tang Clan are sure picks for voters.
As of this point, Joy Division/New Order would be joining the side category club which featured Kraftwerk, MC5, Judas Priest etc.
The rest? They would get theirs eventually or never will.
This is exactly why fan vote shouldn't be taken seriously.
Then you have Oasis on their 3rd appearance on the ballot in their sixth year of eligibility though have yet to be voted in.
It has to be their call so the Hall can finally focus on bands from the aughts including Coldplay. 2/2
I can bet by next induction year that it would finally be their call.
Keep in mind, there's plenty of musical icons who didn't get in on their 1st year of eligibility nor nomination. It happens all the time every year. 1/2
Welp its that time of the year again! navonte.blogspot.com/2026/02/rrho...

Ok now it's legit. See y'all in a few weeks.
Disregard.
I clicked on the link & didn't see a clock.
Ozzy Osbourne always wanted to work with Paul McCartney: โI would dieโ
Consensus? Would be?
It better be a reality & not some cash grab.
It still won't make a difference even with a 7 vote choice. Put them up against INXS or Billy Idol and the results would still be the same. That's not to say I'm against Devo getting voted in, it's just there has to be restrictions on how many times an artist is on a ballot.
Devo is another example of voting fatigue.
Well damn.
Nice analysis & observations on John Sykes' RRHOF years. Very true & informative unfortunately.
And these predictions would be a very challenging yet populated ballot if it's actually real come February.
In other words, the voters failed to induct these artists in their FYE.
A reminder that it's nothing more than an entertainment process. Which is something fans everywhere will never understand.
It was a divisive class.
Way better than 2024
Replace Rubin with Devo & put the former in the AEA. With said, this is definitely the best class I've seen for a long time even though it might not happen like this.
