The collective is often referenced mostly as a Pacific collective, but people forget that also includes Māori. Here's some work from our Takatāpui artists Māhia Tekore and Jaimie Waititi.

Haha, was going to make a pacing joke about the video! I think from memory that it’s all just question and answer so you can just listen if that helps? (TV is my rest time so I would find no TV really tough). Feel free to DM me if you ever feel like reaching out 🌻🌷

I am generally not a big video watcher but it resonated with me. It explained the crashes in a way that made sense to me by someone with both expertise and experience. And gave me some small but practical things to try. It has helped with some of the daily stuff in a small way.

Have you seen the micro pacing video? I found it quite useful/interesting and while I don’t do what they’d call micro pacing, I have found I do an in between (when I remember) that’s helpful. But I also have POTS that I am managing.

Listening to Michael Baker a couple of days ago made me check my status and get a booster yesterday. Covid kills a 1000 people annually in AoNZ. The flu usually around 500. Look after your health, look after those around you ⭐️

Fantastic that every major site has coverage of the Covid-19 Royal Commission findings yet do not mention the very real, very current wave of Covid and ponder out loud that we all might want to get boosted against an ongoing, live threat that we are currently inadequately responding to, how good.

This. And acute effects are in some ways the least of our worries, it's the invisible damage each infection is doing we need to worry about.

The crashes are unpleasant but sounds like yours are worse! It’s all about the pacing, which I am sure I get wrong most of the time! such a delicate balance isn’t it? Throw in things like appointments and I usually don’t achieve much else in a day.

Each Covid-19 wave wrecks your health. Here's what you can do Hospitalisations and deaths from the virus are climbing as the ninth wave of Covid-19 surges across Aotearoa.

It’s a good time to chuck on a respirator mask, esp in health care settings, public transport & busy places (indoors and out). @covidactionnz.bsky.social have set up a couple of mask blocs around the country if you’re close to one and need some masks.
