Please come support queer fiction in all its forms!
It is SO necessary to put out more aromantic stories, and I know how much the first anthology has meant to others. I know how often I see it in Pride displays in bookstores, even 5 years later.

Digital illustration of two female characters in a romantic scene in a lush garden surrounded by morning glories and moonflowers. The character on the left has long, red hair, light skin and is wearing a loose orange dress. The character on the right has black hair, light skin and is wearing a loose black dress. They're interacting in a comfortable embrace.
Another commission for @witchesgonewild.bsky.social of her OCs Idony and Veramir! #art #dnd
A screen shot of the Black Gate Magazine website. Gold and blue writing on a black background. Two book covers: one yellowβSAINT DEATHβS HERALDβand one pink: SAINT DEATHβS DAUGHTER, by C. S. E. Cooney
I had the most wonderful interview experience with Seth of Black Gate Magazine to celebrate the upcoming release of SAINT DEATHβS HERALD from @solarisbooks.bsky.social. I feel so radiantly grateful.

Not at all the design I planned but my creativity is taking flight, as you can see. Did I mention I am addicted to indigo? This is the center of the headpiece; the pointed jewel will fit at the centre of the wearer's forehead.

People keep asking βwhat can we do?β βHow can we stop thisβ and weβve BEEN telling you. Since 2020 weβve been telling you to boycott and to mask. The simplest easy forms are right there. But everyone is too focused on their individualism to focus on the fight.

Plasterwork of a skeleton blowing bubbles set against a pale blue wall.
I am so, so tired. And I know you are, too.
Here's βDeath blowing bubbles,β 18th century. The bubbles symbolize life's fragility. This plaster work appears on the ceiling of Holy Grave Chapel in Michaelsberg Abbey, Bamberg, Germany. After the monasteryβs dissolution, it became a hospital.
A cat named Lucky, a dark tabby, lays on a padded red cat bed.
For the Week of Love event, #Sylestia is selling this avatar companion to help raise funds for Lucky's treatment. Lucky is Krinadon's sweet baby 16 year old cat with kidney failure. Funds raised from the sale of this will help Krin and Lucky immensely.

I love handmade art because of the human mistakes and I need to apply this philosophy to all the typos and other writing mistakes I always have in my posts
Such gorgeous work! I can't stop looking
I haven't been feeling particularly lovey-dovey lately, not in a commercial holiday way in any case. I do hope all who celebrated the day of romance had a wonderful time.

If nothing else, encouraging people to imagine better futures (or really any future where all of this is behind us) feels like vital work right now.

Administering electric shocks to people in the adjacent room and hesitating when the screams get too loud. Thankfully there's an authority figure here reassuring me that it's ok to continue
Wondering how all the Americans who didn't vote because they wanted to have cheaper food prices and boycott the democrats are doing right now. How about those eggs eh?
First strokes for a new headpiece! This is a variation on Smadar Grossman's Dainty Filigree chain design. Why do I always go back to indigo blues?

Such a great way to put it! Strange & Norrell is a cluttercore beauty but Piranesi is straight-edges minimalism and they are both perfect.
When people ask how do you read so much, I think about days like the superbowl, which I spend snuggled with my dog in a cozy nest of pillows and blankets surrounded by piles of books that I am currently reading. I mean that is the answer... #booksky
Blessed meeting to new friends. I am a beadwork witch and a weaving fairy in hiding. I love making fantasy headpieces and jewelry, especially inspired from books. I have a humble shop where my pieces hope to find homes, but my real love is in personalized commissions.

An interpretation of Harrowhark. Black clothes lined in dull gold, with bones as accessories. A split skulls headdress with a veil and fingerbones across the chest, hips, and one ankle.
My version of Harrowhark π
I am ignoring my UFOs for a new project, because life is short and shinies rule.
If this year I am only mood reading, it only follows that I should only mood bead!

"As a knight," the king said, "it is your duty to kill dragons."
"Very well, my liege," the knight said. "Um. May I ask why?"
"Because they hoard wealth without sharing, and people live in fear of their capricious moods."
"Very well, my liege," the knight said and drew his sword.

I just finished All the Hidden Paths by @fozmeadows.bsky.social and it was magnificent! Such a powerful sequel and even better than the first imo. I especially liked the Interludes and would love to see more of Azrian and Naza π
