YES it's so sad!!!!!!! He's so underpreciated!!! The fact that there isn't a single movie about him or anything like that is baffling. He's so fun, he would be an absolute hit with modern audiences and he also gives a very fun new dimension to socrates and classical greece

This reminded me, I did my master's project on trauma (fine arts degree so it was an art project), but there was one of the grading professors who asked to see my alcibiades comic, read it, liked it and graded me on that instead of my actual degree project shfsjh ;-;

I mean it's just the platonic dialogue "alcibiades 1" but maybe one day in the distance future i'll do like a biographical thing for him or something :') love him so much

Acheron (my illustration for the next SIng O Muse! zine). I've been to Acheron twice and it's a gorgeous river. Tried making it a little more "underworld-ish" here while keeping something of the actual irl place. Plus you know the actual river god.
