This a juvenile Cooper's Hawk watching one of the parents eating a chickadee. It basically ignored me. I took a few shots then left. Taken near the Dungeness Spit, Olympic Peninsula. The falconers call a bird ready to kill "yarak". So I call this one the same.

Kinda weird that the party that controls the House, the Senate, and the White House claims there's rampant voter fraud.

On Jan. 7, a European Robin was spotted in Montreal. The bird was authenticated by the Cornell Ornithology Lab. No one knows how he could have crossed the Atlantic.🌻🙂
