Hitchcock's SECRET AGENT (1936) is really a wild film. John Gielgud and Peter Lorre as the Abbott and Costello of espionage. Overly elaborate plot involving chocolate. 2/3s of the film playing like a screwball comedy, punctuated suddenly by murder.
It deserves to be seen more.
