Progress on the #LostLab #Minecraft Mash-Up world!
Finally finished the statue for the center of Main Street in Circuit City. The statue is based on the Walt Disney statue at #Disney Land, specifically it's depiction from #EpicMickey where Walt is seen with Oswald instead of Mickey.
Finished Toxitoon's name plate graphic for their new ref!

Shit like this company is why.
I love Indie animation but I used to love these bigger companies and the products they made, now I just hold regret and sadness towards the fact I will probably never see a new golden age of these companies.
Just wanted to post this because Disney really was the company that inspired me when I was younger the most (after Cartoon Network), but in recent years it also has killed any dreams I had at becoming a professional animator.
Even my dad constantly asks why I don't go into Animation as a job still.
It's insane how unintelligent a company that used to be so revered has become.
With the last few CEOs and the Share Holders at Disney... A company that once struck hope and excitement into me, that made me want to be an artist and animator, has all but killed what little dream I had.

The Founders of the island in LostLab are based on the 7 deadly sins AND the 7 holy virtues, if they represent a sin or virtue depends on story development, otherwise the two are two sides of the same coin.
There is designs for all but 1 of the founders so far, and Buton is Envy ; )
