The German #Genealogy Group, based on Long Island, has added more records to its databases.

Over 36,000 records were added to the Manhattan 1870 and 1872 birth databases. Also, nearly 5,000 records were added to the Brooklyn baptism database.

The #genealogy website, Geneanet.org, is organizing a transcription week for the New York City Geographical Index.

It roughly covers 1880-1912 and includes the name and certificate number of whoever was born at an address.

The New York State Historic Newspapers website has recently added/updated more titles. The collection has over 15,000,000 pages.

Added titles cover the counties: Onondaga, Orleans, Nassau, and Suffolk.

The NYC Historic Vital Records website has added/corrected thousands of items in the last few months.

It has added over 58,000 marriage licenses and has corrected 7,800 death certificates for Kings, Queens and Manhattan.

13th Annual Library Lock-In – Fenton History Center
