I am such a baby. My husband just got back from a five-week deployment, and I never wanna do that again.
Please do not be the boy mom who thinks it’s somehow better or “easier” to pick up your son after his deployment instead of just taking the grandkids for a couple hours so his wife of nearly a decade can be the first to see him.
My toddler is climbing all over me, kneeing me in my already cramping uterus, and I said “Ouch! You’re hurting me!”
She just looked up at me, grinned, and said, “Don’t worry, Mommy! I’m okay!” 🙄🙄

Kids are both at a sleepover with their grandparents, and I should be relaxing and enjoying the peace, but I’m just sad and lonely.
