What a fab eve with Sound Over Silence. It was an honour to play alongside so many incredible musicians, coming together to raise essential funds for MAP 🇵🇸
It was incredibly poignant to have a Holocaust survivor in the audience, there to opposite injustice and ongoing genocide of Palestinian people.

My solo recital at Birkenhead Priory (Sunday 6th) will be a centenary celebration of works by Carmen Guzmán, plus music by other iconic women guitarist-composers 🎼✨

I'll also be joined by the amazing Mike Hughes on vibraphone for some French duets celebrating another centenary: Erik Satie 🎹

Yes, love all of their music!! I'm learning some pieces by Presti at the moment 🤩 My research is going to be about non-guitarist composers and the contexts in which they came to write for the instrument. I'll keep you posted 🥰
