Six weeks ago, I picked up a year-old tawny owl with a broken leg off the main road near our home and dropped him off at our nearest vet.
After a few days, I received one of the most bizarre phone calls I’ve ever had, asking “So when are you coming to pick up your owl?” 🧵
We got a heckuva hailstorm to the east.
This very thing (lights to get through traffic signals) happened to me today on Century Ave -- an actual marked SUV & an unmarked SUV that was following the other (this one did not turn on any lights but proceeded to speed along with the first through a couple of intersections).

If want downtown, any downtown, to be a place for ppl before 8:30am and after 5:30pm making is “playground” for suburbanites ain’t it.
