The reason that the US is locking up tourists for weeks in hellish detention centers rather than letting them book tickets back home is because the detention centers are owned by corporations. They are charging the taxpayers fortunes to cage these people, and making bonanzas off their suffering.

Jeanette Epps was the astronaut on the ISS when the Butch Wilmore and Sunita Wiliams arrived. She was there 235 days.

I’ve had a lot of questions from folks outside the US about Kadrey et al v. Meta Platforms. Currently, this case is for writers domiciled in the US. Writers in other countries can pursue claims against Meta, but it may be a good idea to contact writers orgs in your country to organize a case.
