I also doubt chemotherapy activity is massively because of delays. There will be some that are. Delays are mostly in diagnostics. You can flip back to NHS care when diagnosed.
The majority will be for treatment the NHS doesn't think is cost effective.
Cancer patients ditch NHS for private chemotherapy share.google/fKKhDJVQqyrf...
12% โฌ๏ธ from 2021 to now. So if I did my maths right.. is less than a 2.9% annual increase in activity.
While the NHS thinks chemo activity increases 6-8% annually. In other words.. private sector under delivering
Feels nuts that this is even a standard!

There is clearly a need for more evidence of what to do at the 2y point onwards.
The early reports of pancreatitis all seemed early on in treatment. So the beyond 2y mark needs to capture info on ongoing risks (including financial toxicity).
The vast majority are using privately. I don't think private should be confused with using where there is no proven benefit. However, I'd gladly strike off* prescribers who are prescribing to those not within the evidence base.
*And for those who are not HCP arrest and prosecute
If you are one of those who develop complications that's bad. If you are one who develops pancreatitis without complications it's still far from ideal.
But obesity related health problems like stokes and heart attacks also have severe complications that are less than ideal...
The MHRA said 1.6m people?
And my reading was that they were saying it was the complications of pancreatitis that were extremely rare. In other words, you might sometimes get pancreatitis, but that it would only a proportion of cases which developed severe complications.

A male vegetarian Haggis sporting it's green tartan fur with classic three legs (two on the left showing he is male) smiles while eating grass. It is meeting a carnivorous lady haggis with it's two children. Wearing a red tartan fur these are obviously girl children and they have two legs on their right and one on the left. Jenrick voted with the party.
Therefore Jenrick broke Britain.

Now I may be missing the point here... BUT...
If you were a Conservative MP who had a vote in parliament and you now say Conservatives ruined Britain... Why does changing which ๐ต๏ธ you are wearing make you electable at the next election?
Jenrick was a Conservative.

Are you using it orally? Or do you have an IV version?
IIRC the time to absorption is massive. If you aren't dosing it several hours before, you are not dosing it!
So are you using some other random H2, in the absence of ranitidine?
We have basically not used H2 for premed since ranitidine.

I've been to an event there. It was remarkably unexciting to go home from! I was going to a London Hotel. It's not a huge station. The walk down to the station seems to act as a filter. And there's a fair amount of bussing and ubering.
Compared to events elsewhere in the country.. ..it's OK!
