I think I domed it year-round my senior year of high school, like I felt like at that point the other kids knew what I was (and definitely was not) about.
Funnily enough that I was capable of understanding how a shaved head might be misinterpreted, so this was one of the few times I domed it. During the school year it was usually a #2 guard once a month.
I only ever buzzed my head, never grew it out, from 4th grade to age 20!
This is 8th grade. There are very, very few photos of me in high school. I hated stopping what I was doing to pose in pictures for weird, vaguely autistic reasons.
Similarly, I shaved my head because I couldn't really decode what hairstyles "meant" and so I was terrified to ask for one.
