I don’t actually think more traditional conservatives, as we understand that term, are incapable of great art. Plenty of them are fully capable. I think of Sam Peckinpah, Kelsey Grammer, etc. I think it’s fascists that aren’t capable of it because they don’t understand empathy, just aesthetics.
