i do think the games expect you to use legendaries btw. but they failed to consider its not interesting
pulling up to lance with your starter, entei, raikou, red gyarados, lugia and some other guy requires no grinding but is very easy
though this has given me a new love for exp all with much level balancing negatively impacted my gameplay
dee and dum couldve been responsible for 15 sweeps here but yin and yang wouldve got 87.5% of the exp...
theres no love for the support role, the old games encourage having 6 sweepers
this is kinda proof that the johto level curve isnt all that bad in a whacky way of going about it
3 pokemon caught < lv 10 and 1 hatched from an egg balanced out by a lv 30 and 50, and rare candy pickups
some of these rematches were no joke...
this did actually bridge the gap (im 1-4 above the elite four, 2-10 below lance) but i did use two dozen rare candies to match up to blue (many of which were picked up by mister dum)
i also maxed out on money for the first time!!
