Yeah I think so! Any game that's like hyper skill like Celeste always has crazy modding community and devote fans and they loveee to showoff and yap lol they also almost always just follow for the game and then never return to another stream from my exp

It's kinda annoying when they come in to an obviously new person playing the game and keep talking about p ranks and modded levels and stuff.... I chalk it up to either they're an actual kid or they lack social cues or something. It happens every time especially with niche skill-based games

At game awards? Who knows lol but saving it last as the big reveal and hyping it was made by ex Apex Legends and Titanfall devs wasn't great. Everyone in both communities clowned on it for not being TF3 or Apex 2. I understand it was too big an offer to refuse and they basically got free advertising

I think a) announcing it at the end of game awards forced development to be rushed and b) announcing affiliation with Apex and Titanfall doomed it to be hated from the start
