My child’s principal tried to gaslight me when I withdrew her from shooter drills. “In my 30 years, I’ve never had a parent remove their kid from a safety drill.” He was schooled on the diff between true safety drills and traumatizing shooter drills. He also learned that this Mama 🐻 doesn’t cave 👊🏻
One of my statewide Zoom calls for ‘25 is to have a medical pro present on the gun violence they experience in emergency medical . I want my vols to hear directly these docs’ experiences/opinions to set the flame of motivation.
