Yarn: Fireweed fibre in Black Emerald and Altona
Knitted yellow lace scarf in progress on a back ground of green carpet. Pattern has scalloped edges to the left and right with repeating tulip shaped middle design
I wonder if Ill have enough yarn. Good thing this yarn wasnt a limited release.. 😬

After switching yarn, I finally figured out how to do the lace pattern. Now I can keep practicing and make a scarf, I guess?
Trying out a lace scarf to improve my skills. I cannot count 🫠
Long sleeve hand knitted sweater. Main color is a varigated dark and slightly lighter blue with rainbow colored fish as the motif.
Surgery complete and it now fits perfectly! Second sweater complete!
And now sweater surgery because the armhole was too small... I wondered about this when knititng. Ah well, new skill learned
I finished all my knititng in time! Now lets hope it dries!
And we're blocked! Just in time.
2 inches and a cuff to go
Sleeve progress continues! It's difficult to knit with the child around so progress is slow. Assuming to be done by end of next week so I can wash and block. Really debating again some stripes to the sleeves.
Its a frosty, foggy day.
Finally time for sleeves!!
84 years later... I am at last working on the ribbing.
First scouring attempt complete. Now to wait for it to dry.
Making steady progress on the body. I added ribbing on the sides that will be matched on the sleeves. Hoping that will remove the boxy look others have mentioned.
Finished the yoke and sleeve split for this sweater. Hoping to be done in time for December. I'm calling them rainbow trout!
No pattern for the turtle neck, just went with the vibes.
Pattern: King Salmon Light Caitlin Hunter
Yarn: Lichen and Lace - Sock weight - Rainbow & Deep Sea, Mohair - Sage
I need to test it but pretty sure I acheived sock weight! My first 3 ply spin of Rambouillet 216m finished.

Started the King Salmon sweater but Im doing it in trout colors. Added a turtle neck for my son.
I made matching neck warmers for our upcoming motorbike trip.
The white is superwash merino and the color is handspun rambouillet.

Finished this handspun yarn. It's super inconsustent but closer to a unified yarn. Still lots of practice needed but it's fun to see improvement.
304m Ramboulet
Beanie complete. After blocking it turned out comically large and got tossed in the dryer with some wet towels. Its now appropriately sized. 😅
Great work! Having to frog that must be painful 😭
I spun this yarn, its a mostly worsted weight Merino. Not super consistent thickness. This was before my friend showed me some great spinning tips. Im knitting a beanie for my husband.
