Gaymer prepares to play Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2010)
Happy MAR10 Day! I'm celebrating by playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 for the first time ever!

It's SO GOOD. I got the Platinum on PS5 and I just bought it again on Switch so I can play it in bed!
Just found out that my favorite game of last year, Blue Prince, is now available on Switch 2! In the US store, it's also on sale until end of day March 11th so snatch it up.

Back in January, I started this beast of a game, and it took 90 hours just to get through all the main story & side content, and there's still more I could've done. That's why it took so long to get everything uploaded, but now the whole playthrough of Nioh is on YouTube

Last month I played Horizon: Zero Dawn, and man, it was a good time. Such a great world and story, and (after a little slow of a start), an incredibly paced game. My full playthrough is now up on YouTube

Counterpoint, early Pokemon games also had user manuals and all of two buttons.
And I'd argue the ladder tutorial was less about the ladder and more a step in the larger tutorial about how important the rooftops are in Z-A. It's such a central part in the game, players can't afford to miss it.
I will be happy that I basically got the survivor I wanted (even if she doesn't get to be named Imogen), and I will be *fine* with how the rest of this turned out. π
I always have trouble with the "which game is the hardest" question, because my answer changes from first playthrough to replay, or when considering the game's main content only vs. the hardest optional content. I am pretty satisfied with my responses, though.
Okay, I immediately recognized her as Cere from the SW Jedi games, but looked her up some more and she was Winnifred in Date Everything AND The Houndmaster in DBD? The RANGE. The TALENT. What an icon.
I swear, at least 90% of the disastrous decisions made by video game companies in the last 10 years has been execs trying to churn out the next infinite money printer and sacrificing anything they can if they think it'll get them there.
What if they hate their name? I know it can be changed later but the damage to trust may already be done. π³
Thank you so much for the lovely raid! Always good to see your handsome face! β₯οΈ
Y'know, I have some opinions on this post of yours...
This is absolutely true. Like, I'll still get my usual lurkers but people stay on lurk because they don't want to be spoiled. As a result, the chat is quiet and I don't get much new viewership. I still love playing new games but it's a trade-off for sure.
That's a perfect vibe for today. We had burritos.
Covers for Resident Evil Requiem (2026), Chrono Cross (1999), and Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2010)
Chat was DETERMINED in their voting for next month's game, so Mario Galaxy 2 won the chat game by a landslide. So yeah, this is the March lineup! Should be an eclectic month.
Gaymer prepares to play Resident Evil: Requiem (2026)... Groundbreaking
I know there's a lot of hype around some other game today, but I'm hopping back to Raccoon City for RE: Requiem! Twitch.tv/FrogBeleren
Strategically voting for the survivor's name to be Imogen so curious people will look up the name and discover Imogen Heap.
I don't care how many water lizards we've had, I STILL LOVE HIM.

I've had this game on the shelf for 3 years. Time to finally give it a go!

Sometimes DBD is just silly. (Featuring the worst spins in history.)

It was truly a glorious experience start to finish. Sometimes a game just completely nails it.
I'm SO excited for NEVA. Not sure when I'll get to it, but it's definitely on my list!
This past weekend I played GRIS, and it was a magical and lovely few hours. Highly recommended that you play it for yourself, but my playthrough is now up on YouTube as a backup option.

Last week, I played Reanimal with my husband. And now our playthrough is up on YouTube. This game was a crazy good time.

The loss of a good sandwich place is a true tragedy.
I use games like this as my "bedtime games" They're relaxing and I can't play more than an hour or so before I get tired and have to go to sleep. Cus if I let myself start playing earlier in the day, I lose the whole day to it.
