Leaders of both parties should be calling for Witkoff's immediate resignation after these remarks. He is a Russian patsy, a traitor, and this has just gone for too long. It is has to end.

I'm not sure the coverage is really making enough of Trump spending blood and treasure to replace a dying hard liner with a younger hard liner who now has a burning personal reason for revenge. And gloating about what a success this is.
