It’s a government policy. I got a response from them explaining why it doesn’t trigger a by/election. You’re voting for the person not the party. So, by extension, you’re not voting for the party’s manifesto. Also, Labour = 13 U-Turns in as many months; so right back at you re manifesto.

Manifestos are meaningless. As proven by the response from government stating we vote for the individual not the party. This in response to MPs crossing the floor NOT triggering a by-election. Now elected Labour are peeing their majority up the wall and being weak especially on taxing the rich.
