21,700 fans squeezed into the Manor for an FA Cup 5th round tie in February 1964, as 4th-tier United claimed a shock 3-1 win over a Rovers side who were 2nd in Division 1.

United were battling relegation from League One when they visited the promotion-chasing Sky Blues in March 2019, but Curtis Nelson’s goal earned a 1-0 win. What we wouldn’t give for a repeat tomorrow…
Justin Richards (2013)
The striker arrived on loan from Gary Rowett's Burton Albion earlier that January before being released by the Brewers later in the month, enabling Chris Wilder to sign him on deadline day. Suffered a season-ending knee injury less than a fortnight later.
David Connolly (2014)
The striker was 36 when he signed on loan from Portsmouth and he scored nine minutes into his debut against AFC Wimbledon, a 2-1 win. Connolly played 16 times in total, scoring four goals in a team that fell away badly in the League Two promotion race.
Zeli Ismail (2016)
Joined on loan from Wolves but made only six sub appearances before being sent back just over a month later, due to a lack of game-time for Michael Appleton's promotion-winning side. The winger now plays for Connah's Quay Nomads in the Welsh Premier League.
Jonte Smith (2019)
The striker joined the morning after deadline day, having ended his contract with Isthmian Premier Division side Lewes to get the deal done. Made one appearance off the bench at Blackpool and was released that summer. Now plays cricket for Bermuda!
Joe Grayson (2021)
The son of ex-Leeds, Preston and Blackpool boss Simon Grayson arrived on loan from Blackburn as defensive cover. Grayson made just six appearances, starting only twice, and was released by Rovers that summer, before joining Barrow. Now playing for Gateshead.
