Always time to watch Jaws again....
Always time to watch Jaws again....
Love this one, every time I hear, "Ready To Take a Chance Again" I think fondly of this film- though I'm not the biggest Chase fan, the chemistry between him and Hawn was undeniable. I guess that's why we got Seems Like Old Times.
Gotta say, I always had fun with this film.....
Please tell me this is not real ....
Thanks for this, one of my all time favorite films....(Hmm, what does that say about me? )
Wow- I remember the Hallmark films from the 70's - such a different time.
This is a solid choice indeed.
I think many of us had the same experience with this book.
Wow- thank you for this. Was just drinking my coffee and watching and I think more of my latte is on my screen then in my stomach- "She's talking about her cervix!" oh my-
Hmmmm, can I claim a 50% fan ?? I think the film is visually stunning but it leans into some of the worst impulses of a director prone to bad impulses who, if I am honest ( with myself at least) has no ear for actual human sounding dialogue..... side note- why do the kids in Avatar use slang ??
Well some of these are great, and some are hard to get through. Either way, I'd have been there.
I remember be resistant to it for so long, felt it would be dull low budget shlock, while it is low budget- it was not at all dull. I had a good time at least-
It's always Midnight at the oasis.
So glad to hear you liked it..... now the job is to get more people to go see it in the cinema.....
I could not agree more.
We are so happy "you like us, you really like us"....
Now if we can get about 50 million others to agree we can be assured that studios will take amazing risks like this in the future. If not, we'll continue to get Netflix originals and Fast & Furious 78...
Wild Kingdom followed by You're a good sport Charlie Brown
Oh, hope you love it as I did.
SCORE (1974) Dir. Radley Metzger
This playful entry from the porno chic era is slickly made and surprisingly well acted. It may feel dated now, yet for its time it was startling. The tone stays knowingly mischievous. A curious artifact that entertains.. The film keeps tongue planted firmly in cheekποΈ
Love this film- precursor to Final Destination-
When you can remember this show, this magazine and can admit that you had a subscription.... I guess it dates you a bit.
I'm very happy I tagged out at the first one.
I'd no idea they made two of them ? did they make more ?
She knows........
Agreed, it's a luminous moment- the film does not hang together as well, but she does acquit herself so well- I can imagine she'd have wished the film was a bit better.
Would be amazing but not sure I want to Field of Dreams it...... I just can't be sure that if I build it, they will come....
Yup, my mind went to The Fabulous Stains the moment all the women were dressed as the Bride! ( and I was 100% there for it)
If only the film were half as exciting as the poster.
Oh this one..... I wanted it to be so transgressive.....
