I'm just gonna leave this here.
Had a dream last night about Charon from Fallout 3 getting a shotgun and I was WAY TO EXCITED.
Like he’s less of a smash than Heisenberg, but… a voice goes a long way for someone’s rating on the smash or pass scale.
My confession is that Gideon from RE9?
Smash.
And yet none of these wealthy businessmen were brought to any sort of justice even though congressional committee agreed they did indeed attempt a coup?
Anyway look up the Business Plot of 1933 and tell me billionaires aren’t just trying to do do the same thing today.
And part of the reason it failed was bc their pick for dictator, Smedley Butler, was actually loyal to democracy and testified against them after gathering evidence.
And he was ridiculed for it.
Did y’all know in 1933 the wealthy class in America tried to overthrow the government and install a fascist military dictator in part bc Roosevelt decided they should be taxed more than the average citizen?
It is 60 F today. The blanket is on my lap. I am wearing shorts. I am still sweating.
Agreed - times like these I do have to ask myself: why did you decide your first super major project should be this large?
It’s so heavy at my desk already I’m suffering at work and it’s hell of my own making… but I am enjoying myself. I’m just impatient and want to cuddle my cats under it NOW.

A purple and green stripped crochet blanket draped across the bottom of a queen bed. It does not cover a majority of the bed. Moss stitch.
Me, unable to accept reality: I bet I can finish crocheting this queen size blanket today.

I can’t stop thinking about this post.
I want him crying while his arms shake as he’s bouncing on Simon’s-
fuck, I’m sorry, I can’t compete with this
I think in the other games it’s very easy to brush aside the endings as victories because the main cast made it out of the city, but this was a stark reminder that a lot of people didn’t.
I do think that the game did an amazing job making the Raccoon City event feel very tragic. I legitimately cried during several points, especially when realizing who Meryl (the little girl leaving notes) was. Or seeing how excited people were for Leon to join the team. Like they did amazing there.
I will say this is probably overall the least scary game other than 4/4re? Once you realize The Girl is only going to stalk you in story locations and not throughout the whole map, and the other big enemies of Grace’s section just patrol… it’s a walk in the park.

I would personally ban audio and video ads from everywhere.
I enjoyed Resident Evil Requiem a ton, BUT I will say I don’t get why it’s higher rated than 2Re, 4Re, 7, or 8.
Still a great game; I put it above 3Re personally (I love the 3Re, so that isn’t an insult at all - I just recognize that it did have issues), but Leon’s sequences can drag a bit imo.
Soulsborne games are neat because they're the best games ever made but also all have at least one part that's one of the worst things ever put in a videogame
Put me in a headlock and let me chew on them.
