We contribute evidence for effective policy guidance on leveraging grant funding, contracts, and other financing strategies to facilitate evidence-based practice (EBP) reach.
This work uses the Exploration, Preparation, Implementation, Sustainment #EPIS Framework and an explanatory sequential (QUAN -> QUAL) mixed-method comparative case study design to examine 19 U.S. states across 3 levels of reach (high, medium, low).
Very excited to share our recent piece on βClarity and consistency in government-funded implementation strategies associated with greater evidence-based practice reach: a mixed-method comparative case studyβ in Implementation Science @implementsci.bsky.social

Several federal datasets and health surveys came offline last Friday. Some have returned.
We explain what these data are and how theyβre used in interventions to address our nationβs biggest health challenges:
Please consider submitting and joining us in Pittsburgh next September! Thrilled to be serving as one of the Co-Chairs for this next conference. The theme is βCommunity Engagement in Population Health Science.β
And deep thanks to those who came to see my talk on βPolicy implications for federal grant investment to promote reach of adolescent substance use treatment implementation: Comparative case analysis of 19 states.β Really appreciate the thoughtful engagement with our methods and our findings!
