I think the concept of making a hypothesis has ruined society.

Each player spent the majority of the time sitting and watching others play.
When they do go out on the field they are just chewing (gum? Tobacco? Their retainer?) and spitting.
There is only one guy actually doing anything… and he’s repeatedly throwing a ball.
