Let’s raise a glass and wish Sir John Herschel a Happy Birthday! He invented the cyanotype process in 1842 & he inspires me, along with the entire alternative photography community, every day.💙
"Wineglasses Multiple" is my digitally reimagined collaged cyanotype on fabric with gold acrylic paint.
Happy Birthday to French scientist/photographer and pioneer of cinematography Étienne-Jules Marey (1830-1904). He was the inspiration for my Time/Motion Study Multiples artwork.💙

Thinking of my mother today, Adele R. Heller, on what would have been her 104th Birthday (1922-1997).
She was unique in every way: beautiful, brilliant, concert pianist, award-winning Haiku poet, writer & theater producer. But most of all she was my mother and I love her & miss her every day.💙
I'm thrilled to have three of my Time/Motion Study photos in the group exhibition CLUTCH YOUR PEARLS at Tanuki Gallery in Brewster, MA. Lots of beautiful art along with wonderfully-curated objets d’art by the amazing Rebekah Powers!💙
