π I knew it was something a tad underwhelming. Sounds like someone who sits on a parish council and takes it very seriously.
That's pretty much the only reason why I watched it βΊοΈ
We watched that tonight too. Big ol' dumb military recruitment piece. Basically Battleship but on land. And with less battleships. Lots of detail with the rangers and the military side of things but not much else.
If I have a painting and decorating company I'm going to call it Tin Pot Decorators #pun
A lot of the seaweed has been washed away in the storms :(
Red sandstone cliffs stretch along a misty coastline. A shallow tidal pool sits in the foreground, ringed by dark rocks and patches of green seaweed. Wet sand and scattered stones lead toward the water. The sea lies to the right under a pale, overcast sky. Small figures walk in the distance at the base of the cliffs. The air looks foggy and cool.
Orcombe Point in #Exmouth #beach #Devon - misty afternoon with the dog. This end of the beach is much easier to walk if you are less mobile. Sad to see so much sand has washed away but it's fascinating to see the new rock formations which have been uncovered.
Us: hey dog, fancy a walk on the beach?
Dog: oh my god yes, I love the beach it is my favourite place in the world ever.
Us: on the way we have to go through a shop and get something.
Dog:
...or worse, a tiny basket? #wewantplates
No. Cat yes. The rest of it. No. #fryup #foodsky
For the 29th tike today the dog has decided he wants to go out. I think a fox has trotted past the back gate. I have set up some cheese cold smoking so I'm not just standing in the middle of the communal area like a lemon.
...I step outside and somewhere nearby someone has cooked a gorgeous smelling roast.
For the 28th effing time today the dog has declared he wants to go out.
Is it chocolate flavoured too?
Grid of colourful photo tiles on a smartphone screen. Each tile shows a scenic background with a large white word overlaid. The words are crude British insults and slang. Visible examples include βBUCKETAD,β βSHITPOUCH,β βPISH,β βJIZZSTAIN,β βNONCE,β βPISSKIDNEY,β βWAZZOCK,β βFANNY,β and a large central tile reading βBELLEND.β A toolbar with share, edit, and add icons sits across the lower centre of the screen.
Fear not, I found my insults folder.
Possibly Facebook groups might be a good plan if you can do it at a later date
sorry, I've just walked ours π€ͺ
Years ago, on X (hush in the back), I was lucky to be followed by @pickardje.bsky.social who picked me as a result of a tweet. I was very happy that this had happened but now I have moved to Bluesky I hope that he might follow me again in my bid to recreate a nice status quo like the one I had b4 :)
Is anyone else watching The Heat on #itv - what are your thoughts? #tvthreads
True.
It goes along with my hatred of the words βyummyβ and βmoistβ
I think you're safe, they completely count for your five a day too. I mean, it's a vegetable, at least that is what I tell myself.
Not been for years! Love it.
Or moody scandi noir detective novel.
You can't go wrong. It would be impossible.
Classic flavour, can't go too wrong.
Love the glasses π€
Black and white photo of a quiet shoreline under a cloudy sky. Small waves roll onto wet sand marked with scattered footprints. To the right, a short wooden groyne extends into the water. A tilted post with a triangular navigation marker rises from the end. Faint hills sit low on the distant horizon.
Found this I took a couple of years ago in the archives. #exmouth #blackandwhitephotography #bnw #devon
