Laura Owens, ever the trickster, at Matthew Marks. These rooms reward slow viewing… felt far more like the painted garden at Villa of Livia than I’d expected …left feeling that she’s reconciled to living in worlds of duplication and illusion, but not without a sense of both wonder and loss.
