Iβm a beginner. After a family loss from Dravet Syndrome, I developed an interest in photography, and found it very therapeutic way to express what words cannot. I enjoy capturing every day scenery and objects. I aim to evoke feelings and emotions through every photo I take. Thanks for your vote!
My older daughter honoring the sister she recently lost.

@blogforiowa.bsky.social I rarely get on here anymore since my daughter died, just happened to today and so glad because I found you! Iβm from Iowa originally, most family there, always glad to see it hasnβt gone down the drain completely. You have a regular website?

This is stunning, thank you. π
I was considering moving a dresser from the garage into her bedroom that will now be mine - then remembered she had scrawled her name on the back, many years ago, before she lost so many functions.
Iβm as prepared for that as possible. I think. My daughter had a rare syndrome so the moms are a pretty tight bunch. I know they will always be there for me - but I also know every death is a terrifying reminder that their child might be next, so continuing support can be uncomfortable for all.
Oh my gosh, I just realized that; that you had to go through the holidays without her. π
I feel you. I keep saying I look forward to the day I canβ¦look forward.
Only 6 days here. I wish I could sleep more - I thought thatβs all I would do. And sleep just means waking up with my Carrie still gone, so I kind of dread it anyway.
We will be having a celebration of life for Carrie within the next week and a half and are including a designated DSF donation spot. I hope to raise several hundred dollars. Yours is a splendid organization, that we have benefited from so much. I hope
Thank you so much. Holy moly this hurts
(Not so) good morning, BlueSkyers. I lost my brave, precious daughter Carrie yesterday. She fought like a warrior for 35 years, but it was finally too much. I am devastated and tbh, completely lost at the moment. Pls consider supporting Dravet Syndrome Foundation. @druidscircle.bsky.social, much π
My book loving, 7 year old grandson, McClain, reading to my 9 week old, big brother loving, grandson, Murphy. π

This is very cool.
WTFU!
Isnβt it great?!
This is soooo good! Screenshotting and sending it to everyone I know.
A screenshot of text stating: "The University of Colorado took down its main D.E.I. webpage, and posted a new page for an Office of Collaboration." The text suggests that the university has replaced its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (D.E.I.) webpage with a new office focused on collaboration. The emphasis on this change might indicate a shift in policy or branding regarding diversity initiatives.
Ooooh well played.
