I created my first game using Lincoln Logs and Star Wars action figures. My friends liked it, and I soon created more and made a few more games. Looking at my life, I see I have. With Rogue Games, I publish Colonial Gothic and a few others.

We should’ve taken the flat-earthers more seriously. It was the canary in the coal mine for what we’re experiencing currently in this world.

What I find ironic is that it will happen around the same time both tumors were discovered. I started 2025 with a tumor and an operation. I am ending 2025 with a second operation.
I can't wait until this damn year is over.
It is scheduled to be released in either November or December. We will find out about the date in a week.
So I had my appointment today about the second tumor. It has grown since it was discovered last December. When it was found, it was 1.34 CM. According to the lab results and the doctor, it is now 1.9 cm.
I just got an email as well. It sounded fishy because they wanted 200 copies of my most expensive title. When they wanted payment through another billing service, it smelled worse.

Or do you stick to tradition and force a game to conform? You could always side-step the change, yet would a change like this be accepted?
Is using ability names, such as Constitution instead of Breath Weapon, game-breaking and against the rules? Both could function in the same way and save against certain things.
When working on a game that is not fantasy-based, does using Saving Throws like Breath Weapon and Wand create a reality-suspending moment?
One of the things I try to balance is when to adhere to the OSE dogma on certain rule mechanics, or use those mechanics as inspiration to do something new. Saving Throws is the example.
The title says it all.
