I have a plug-in electric car and a jerry-rigged solar system in my rental. I am lucky to be in California, so during the day, most of the electricity comes from solar. I am looking for a fully electric car now, but almost all my driving is electric.

I bought mine car used for the same price as a ICE and got creative with the solar. It is doable. If you don’t have the place for solar write to your legislators.
