Has anyone ever heard of frogs (fried bread dough)? Not Native American fry bread which I think uses baking powder, but fried yeast bread. My mom taught me to make these in an iron skillet. I've only heard one or two others call them frogs. Wondering why we call them this.

The one and only agent that showed interest, couldn't rep me because she said she had a client with a similar voice. Totally understandable, but disappointing. Then my husband retired last month and our budget drastically dropped, so I'm choosing not to continue with 12x12pb or scbwi.
Thanks Sue. It was a difficult decision, but probably for the best. For sixteen years I've been writing, learning, and, and improving my writing. During that time many CPs have stated how much they love my work. But not a single agent or editor in all these years, except one, has loved my work.
It's been over 15 years of rejection, so I've finally decided I won't be submitting any more. The last ember of hope I was holding onto for so long is officially dead.

The friends of the #wornstaffpubliclibrary hosted my author visit. They and the staff are the absolute best! Their board recommended an almost lifesize cut out (crazy funny). One member made me a custom bookworm bag (priceless). And the kids all participated during the event! #kidlit #blessed
